About Me
I have spent most of my life in Grand Cayman growing up and attending one school, St Ignatius Catholic. My early years were enjoyable ; swimming, snorkeling with friends, riding my bicycle, little league softball, badminton, scuba and later on squash was added to the list of activities. Now, I don’t do any of those things besides swimming occasionally in the sea. I don’t know where I got the energy from in those days.
After spending 11 years in one school, I enrolled in a boarding school in Massachusetts where I spent two very cold winters. This was not the first school of choice but I managed to obtain a scholarship which helped greatly with the tuition. From there, I applied and got accepted to Stetson University, Florida. This was a relief for me as I longed for warmer days and being nearer to home and familiar food.
I graduated from Stetson with a BBA in E-Business Technology. While there I played basketball to keep fit. I also was a member of Caribbean Club and the International Student Organization, which helped me to meet and socialize with some interesting students. In my senior year, I moved off campus. I enjoyed cooking my own meals, having my own room, and sleeping with less noise. Living off campus also meant walking further to classes, and sometimes it rained a lot.
